New collection points in Barnesmore Gap, Dungloe, Kilcar and Lettermacaward, organic eggs and volunteering
What a busy season it has been! We're now growing across five polytunnels as well as our outdoor beds, and working with an expanding network of organic growers. We’ve just added four new collection points, and you can now get certified organic eggs alongside your veg box.

We are also now moving into that lovely autumn crossover, with lots of tomatoes still coming alongside cucumbers, beans and fresh greens, as well as potatoes, pumpkins, parsnips, carrots, cabbage, leeks, garlic, onions and much more.

Certified organic eggs as add-ons
We are delighted that you can get certified organic eggs from Andrew McShea’s Tullyhouse Organic Farm in Ballyshannon as an add-on to your veg box.
The eggs are already proving very popular with our existing customers. You can also add extra potatoes and homemade bread from Thomas Becht of Sustainable Landuse Company in Glenties.

We've added four new collection points in Barnesmore Gap, Dungloe, Kilcar and Lettermacaward, making it easier for more people across Donegal to get fresh, seasonal, certified organic produce from Shy By Nature Farm.

Our veg boxes come in three sizes:
One-off, weekly and fortnightly options are available.
We’ve also got sliding scale pricing. The idea is simple: people contribute what they realistically can, helping us widen access to healthy, regenerative organic food while keeping the farm financially sustainable.
Want to volunteer?
There are opportunities to volunteer every Tuesday and Saturday. Whether you come for an hour or stay for the day, new faces are always welcome:
Soil and Soul Tuesdays (11am–1pm) combine gentle gardening with tea, coffee, homemade cakes and scones, and some fresh veg to take home. There are jobs for people of all abilities. If you'd like to join us, WhatsApp Catherine on +353 87 777 1621
